The history of our educational institution is the complicated way from provincial institute to the largest specializing educational institution of Russia, which prepares engineers not only in the field of building materials industry and construction, but architects and economists, highly-skilled accountants, extensive profile managers, mechanics, technologists, mechanicians and etc. According to the nomenclature of specialities, structure of faculties, chairs and laboratories, BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov is the only one higher educational institution of such a profile not only in our country, but on the whole European educational space.

Our motto is "High quality of education". For this reason we try to improve material supplies, to increase the level of scientific and research work, to perfect the activities of teaching staff, to cooperate with industrial enterprises of Belgorod region and other regions of Russia.
