Organization of scientific activity

Scientific researches are carried out according to the basic directions of scientific activity of the University, approved by the conference of scientists and teachers of BSTU. The researches are based on Priority directions of scientific development, technologies and techniques and the list of critical technologies of the Russian Federation, approved by the president of the Russian Federation on the 30th of March 2002. The subjects of the scientific researches as well as the offers on their financing are being developed by the Scientific and Technical Council of the University and are being confirmed by the Academic Council on the basis of offers of chairs and laboratories, orders of industrial enterprises of building materials and other organizations.

The most interesting feature of the University's scientific activity is that specialists of different specialities work at all the scientific researches. Collectives of the University scientists and experts of enterprises with wide attraction of post- graduate students, competitors and senior students are being created. Such approach allows carrying out the decision of complex problems of branches with their introduction into manufacture, providing simultaneously perfection of preparation of the engineering staff.
