Department of doctoral studies
Doctoral studies of the university have been functioning since 1999. For the period of existence of doctoral studies, more than 800 dissertations for the candidate of sciences degree and more than 70 theses for the doctor’s degree of sciences have been successfully defended.
There are two (2) doctor's dissertation councils on the basis of BSTU in which theses for a candidate of sciences degree and for doctor of sciences degree in five (5) scientific specialties are actively carried out act.
Doctoral Studies in these specialties are actively conducted in the university. Training of doctoral candidates is provided with modern scientific and laboratory bases which allow the maintenance of high level training of specialists and preparing worthy level theses.
Scholarships of the Belgorod regional governor and the renowned academician Shukhov V.G. are awarded to successfully studying doctoral candidates showing excellent scientific activity results.
