The Friendship has won
On November 21, 2011, the kindergarten № 5 hosted a holiday devoted to the International Student's Day and World Children's Day. The students of the preparatory faculty for foreign students of Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov were invited to the event. The faculty is doing a great job to develop tolerance among young people. With this purpose, international students participate in sports, cultural and social events, during which they discover for themselves a lot about the country where they will live and learn.
First, the students had a tour of the kindergarten, spoke about the structure of the educational system in Russia. After this, the holiday itself started. The participants were divided into two teams and offered to demonstrate who is faster and stronger. Both the children, and the students liked the sports competitions.
At the end, friendship won. All the participants were awarded with sweet prizes and the foreign guests were presented a special gift - a loaf of sweet Russian bread, the students of the preparatory faculty liked very much. The children presented gifts to each student - greeting cards made by their own hands, symbolizing friendship between the peoples.
All the participants were so pleased with communicating with each other, that it was proposed to continue the cooperation: the students of the preparatory faculty for foreign were invited to attend the matinee to celebrate the New Year.
