This weekend, the sounds of accordion, Russian folk songs and ditties were pouring through the center of Belgorod from the very morning, and from all sides artists in costumes, singers and musicians invited the audience to their round dances. This year, for the first time, they decided to cook dumplings according to recipes from different regions of Russia, and more than 60,000 dumplings prepared in advance were sent to the Tula and Moscow regions, as well as to Soldier's Halt.

Volunteer group "Blindage31" expressed gratitude to the volunteers of the BSTU. Shukhov, who helped prepare logs for our soldiers.

The coming year will pass throughout Russia under the sign of Shukhov - August 28 marks the 170th anniversary of the birth of the great inventor and scientist. And for all Shukhovites - from a student to a professor at the Belgorod State Technological University - this year will be doubly special, since the name of the scientist has been proudly borne by BSTU for 20 years.

On the eve of the upcoming new year, it is customary to sum up the results, to see what has been achieved from the plan, and what remains to be done next year. The outgoing 2022 was a very difficult year for our country as a whole, and for the Belgorod region in particular. For us, residents of the border region, and those who tied their fate with BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, having decided to get an education in one of the best flagship universities in the country, it became a serious test, which, however, revealed our strengths - the ability to unite, unite and find the strength to continue to live, work, study under any circumstances.

Yesterday a delegation of the All-Russian public organization "Committee for Supporting the Reforms of the President of Russia" paid a working visit to the university. A rich program was planned for the participants. The result of the trip was the signing of a cooperation agreement.

These days the delegation of BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov, headed by Rector Sergei Glagolev, is on a business visit to Abkhazia. There are several important meetings in the program of the trip.

The Russian Union of Rectors, together with the RAEX agency, are implementing the Question to the Rector project, which meets the rapidly changing conditions for the development of higher education: these are the views of the heads of Russian universities on issues on the current agenda.

Mukhialdin Katen is a student from Yemen who graduated from the Master's program of the Department of Expertise and Real Estate Management under the program "Development in Investment and Construction Activities" in 2017.

Rector of BSTU Shukhov Sergei Glagolev took part in the International Conference "Industrial Heritage", one of the topics of which was the heritage of the brilliant Russian engineer and architect Vladimir Shukhov.

Rector of BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov Sergey Glagolev, director of the Institute of Architecture Vitaly Pertsev and deputy director of the Center for International Education and Cooperation Allah Yasser Seyfiddin take part in the International Forum dedicated to the 50th anniversary of the Convention on the Protection of the World Cultural and Natural Heritage, which is taking place in Kazan.
