Days of Science at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov
The year of science and technology at the university began on a large scale. The start was given on February 8th - the Day of Russian Science, when a large number of master classes, lectures and seminars were held at the flagship university of the region.
Small Technological University together with the departments of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhoa prepared master classes in all directions for future scientists and inventors.
Days of Science with STU is an opportunity for a student to get in touch with the world of science, see how experiments are going on in laboratories, or even take part in them. The event was held on the basis of the Student Palace of Culture, where mini-laboratories of each of the departments are located. “Career guidance is very important for children. Only by trying himself in different areas, the student will be able to have an idea of what he wants to do in life. We give them a unique opportunity to put on a firefighter's combat clothes, or try their hand at robotics, ”said Natalya Altynnik, director of the Small Technological University. Future engineers, builders and architects themselves chose a master class based on their preferences: designing buildings or robotics, experiments in chemistry or physics, creating unique figures from glass, or studying the section of pavement and all its layers.
For those who want to connect their lives with maintaining order and rescuing people, a master class was prepared on putting on a heat-reflecting suit and firefighter's combat clothing. And for those who like speed, the site of the "SHUKHOV RACING TEAM" engineering and racing team was open. On Science Day with STU, everyone found something to their liking. There was also an online soft-lecture for children.
