The university took 6th place in the SCOPUS database
Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov took 6th place among all Russian universities in the international SCOPUS database in the direction of "Civil and Structural Engineering". There are only 3 universities ahead of the flagship university from St. Petersburg and 2 from Moscow. Such a high result was achieved thanks to the joint work of employees of the research department and scientists of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov, who are actively involved in scientific activities.
Thus, the head of the R&D department acted as the editor-in-chief of 4 volumes in the journal "Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering", published in Switzerland and indexed in the SCOPUS database.
The collections include articles by leading scientists of Russian universities from the Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, National Research Tomsk State University, National Research Moscow State University of Civil Engineering and other universities. Presented in collections and publications of scientists from countries of near and far abroad. The articles reflect modern scientific advances in the field of building materials and building structures, structural mechanics and theory of structures, industrial and civil engineering, geodesy and cartography, chemical sciences, as well as environmental engineering and sustainable development.
