Cooperation agreements signed with Chinese educational institutions
BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was visited by the chairman of the board of the center for Russian-Chinese humanitarian cooperation and development, professor, academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences Mr. Yin Bin.
The purpose of his visit was to discuss possible points of interaction and consider the issue of cooperation between Weifang University (China) and a flagship university. The host party was represented by the Rector of the Technological University, with the participation of the Deputy Director of the Center for International Education and Cooperation, Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Adviser to the Rector on International Cooperation. During negotiations and an online meeting with the leadership of Weifang University, a cooperation agreement was signed, which will allow us to establish comprehensive interaction in the field of education and successfully implement joint projects. Also last week, the university signed memorandums of cooperation with two Chinese schools.
The first partner is the Innovation Industrial Park (Jinan Virtual University), which is a business incubator for innovation and development of high-quality domestic and foreign higher education resources in Jinan with an emphasis on training high-level specialists. The second educational institution is Wenhua Electric Power School, which is a general education vocational school in the electric power industry.
At the conclusion of the memorandums, the Chinese side expressed great hopes for long-term and effective cooperation with our university.
