The university honored the memory of all victims of terrorist aggression
At the Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov hosted a rally dedicated to the Day of Solidarity in the Fight Against Terrorism.
Teachers and students paid tribute to the memory of all the victims of terrorist aggression that the multinational people of Russia have ever faced. This day is timed to coincide with the tragic events that took place on September 1-3, 2004 in the city of Beslan (North Ossetia). More than 300 people were killed in an unprecedented terrorist attack 17 years ago. “This tragedy still resonates with great pain in the souls of each of us. Even the past time is not able to heal this deep wound of irrecoverable losses and losses, ”- said in his speech the vice-rector for security of the university Vladimir Borisovsky.
Also attending the rally was police major Roman Ryabtsev, an operative for especially important cases of the Center for the Prevention of Extremism of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the Belgorod Region. The Day of Solidarity in the Fight against Terrorism symbolizes the unity of the state and society in the fight against one of the most dangerous global problems of our time.
Today, white balloons were released into the sky on the university square - a symbol of the purity of a child's soul, memory and sorrow for all those killed in terrorist attacks.
