Best practices in working with international students
Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G.Shukhov and the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia held a regional webinar "The best practices of Russian universities in working with foreign students." The full-time webinar was attended by the chief specialist of the department for work with alumni of the RUDN University Daria Vasina, the vice-rector for international affairs Ruslan Lesovik and the deputy director of the center for international education and cooperation Allaham Yasser Seyfiddin.
“Our country has accumulated a great theoretical and practical experience in training specialists for foreign countries. The role of Russia in the space of the world educational community is steadily increasing, this is facilitated by both the high quality of Russian education and its accessibility, as well as the serious scientific and pedagogical potential of our universities ”, said Natalya Trukhanovskaya, Director of the Department for Coordination of the Activities of Educational Organizations of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education Russia.
The speakers shared effective practices of working with foreign students, graduate students, students of preparatory faculties, discussed the features of intercultural adaptation of students in Russian universities
