Lab class for Syrian students
The first laboratory session took place between BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov and the University of Latakia, the lesson was held under the guidance of the head of the department of building materials science, products and structures, Dr. Tech. Sciences, Professor Valery Lesovik. From the side of Tishrin University, the Dean of the Faculty of Civil Engineering Jamal Omran, Professor Mohamed Ali Jafar and Professor Hazher Nasser were present. The lesson aroused great interest among students; more than 100 graduate students and undergraduates who were actively involved in the educational process gathered in the auditorium of Tishrin University.
The work was carried out on the basis of a previously signed agreement during the visit of the management of BSTU named after. V.G. Shukhov to Syria.
Employees of the University of Latakia highly appreciated the level of the scientific school of the Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, and also thanked the rector Sergei Glagolev and Valery Lesovik for the work done.
