Tekhnolog-Spartak again became the champion of Russia in beach handball
The final round of the Russian beach handball championship with the participation of 6 teams was held in Belgorod at the site of BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov on July 23 and 24. In the final round, the Belgorod team did not lose a single time. In the standings, Tekhnolog-Spartak was 2 points behind the leading Stavropol Viktor by 2 points. Already on the first game day, the hosts beat their main competitors 2:0.
Also in two sets, Technolog dealt with the teams of the Krasnodar Territory, Karachay-Cherkessia and their teammates from Spartak-Reefs. The fate of the gold medals was decided in the match between the home team and Ekaterinodar Krasnodar. Belgorod won the first set. In the second, with a score of 14:14 a few seconds before the end, the goalkeeper of Technologist-Spartak Sergey Rusinov pulled out a hopeless ball. Everything was to be decided by the golden goal. The ball on the throw-in was won by Ekaterinodar, but it successfully rebounded to Igor Neklyudov from Belgorod, and he scored the decisive ball. The victory of the Shukhov team 2:0 - and the final first place in the championship of Russia-2022.
“The last two weeks, we ended all training sessions with a game of up to five golden goals. And it worked, ”admitted the head coach of Technologist-Spartak Sergey Kramskoy. Igor Neklyudov from Belgorod was recognized as the most valuable player.
