Expanding Borders: Cooperation with Syrian Universities
Deputy Minister of Health of the Russian Federation Andrey Plutitsky held a meeting at which they summed up the results of the 1st International Russian-Syrian conference on health "Avicenna's Ways", and also discussed the results of the visit of the Minister of Education of Syria to Russia. BSTU im. VG Shukhov was represented by the Deputy Director of the Center for International Education and Cooperation, Associate Professor of the Department of Building Materials Science, Products and Structures Allaham Yasser Seyfiddin. At the meeting, it was decided that BSTU would cooperate with two Syrian universities: Damascus University (Damascus) and Tishrin University (Latakia). With the latter, active scientific work is already underway, lectures and laboratory classes are held for employees and students.
