Visit of the Delegation of the Republic of Columbia
On June 21 the representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Columbia in Russian Federation including H.E. Diego Jose Tobon Echeverri, the ambassador, Andrei Agreda, the Secretary, Riccardo Santamaria, representative of the Embassy and other officials arrived in Belgorod at the invitation of Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov. In the course of the visit the delegation will see the major educational institutions in Belgorodia, meet local government officials and inspect some facilities related to agriculture and farming. The program of the visit includes 70th anniversary greetings addressed to BSTU president, professor, Dr. A.M. Gridchin, meeting Y.V. Kovrizhnykh, deputy-Chairman of local Government, head of the department for education, culture and Youth affairs at Belgorod oblast Government office, meeting V.Y Rodionov, head of agricultural complex department, deputy-head of Belgorod oblast Government. The delegation is going to meet the students, citizens of Columbia, studying at Belgorod State Agricultural Academy. On June 21 – 22 the representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Columbia will visit Belgorod State Diorama Museum in commemoration of the Kursk Battle and the field of Prokhorovka. During the tour of BSTU the visitors will be familiarized with innovative, scientific and technical achievements of our university.
