Belgorod State Technological University named after V.G. Shukhov, together with the Gubkin Spiritual and Educational Center "Transfiguration", organizes tourist trips around the region and the country for foreign students.

The final round of the Russian beach handball championship with the participation of 6 teams was held in Belgorod at the site of BSTU named aftter V. G. Shukhov on July 23 and 24. In the final round, the Belgorod team did not lose a single time.

Director of the Center for International Education and Cooperation, BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov Evgeny Kapustin held a meeting with representatives of the Chinese company Shandong Shuifa Education Development Co., Ltd. The company develops software for education, culture, provides educational consulting services.

In Sevastopol, the design and educational intensive "Archipelago 2022" is taking place. This is an association of leaders of changes in the technological sphere, the social environment, and education.

A new comfortable hostel for 400 people this year will open the doors for Shukhov residents. It was built taking into account all modern requirements, including conditions for students with limited mobility.

BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov was visited by a delegation from Al-Istiklal University from Palestine. The Palestinian university was represented by the dean of scientific centers of the university, Dr. Muhammad Khalas, and the director of the Center for Russian Language and Culture S. Yesenina Mohammed Najazhr.

The day before, a two-day IX Forum of the Regions of Belarus and Russia started in Grodno. It brought together almost 500 representatives of more than 50 constituent entities of the Russian Federation, all regions of Belarus and Minsk. This is the first meeting in this format after a two-year break.

Belgorod hosted a meeting of the Council of Rectors of universities in the region chaired by the rector of BSTU named after V. G. Shukhov prof. Sergei Glagolev.

Rector of BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov Sergei Glagolev paid a working visit to "VOENMEH" named after. D.F. Ustinov. Sergei Nikolayevich plunged into the history of the university on a tour of the museum complex, walked around the campus, learned how the educational process is organized and what developments university scientists are proud of.

June 26 is traditionally celebrated in many countries of the world as the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking. This date was established by the UN General Assembly as a sign of determination to create a drug-free world society. On the eve of a memorable day at BSTU named after V.G. Shukhov hosted the Interuniversity scientific and practical conference with international participation "Actual problems of drug addiction prevention in higher educational institutions."
